Men and Women of Might Foundation

Effective Date: August 30, 2026Last Updated: August 30, 2026

Men and Women of Might Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing safe, educational, empowering, and age-appropriate programs for youth.

This Parent/Guardian Consent Policy explains the permissions, acknowledgments, responsibilities, and information that may be required from a parent or legal guardian before a minor participates in Foundation programs.

1

Purpose

Men and Women of Might Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing safe, educational, empowering, and age-appropriate programs for youth.

This Parent/Guardian Consent Policy explains the permissions, acknowledgments, responsibilities, and information that may be required from a parent or legal guardian before a minor participates in Foundation programs.

The Foundation’s youth initiatives may include mentorship, educational workshops, personal-development programs, leadership development, business and entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, webinars, community activities, and special events.

2

Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to parents and legal guardians registering or authorizing participation by individuals under 18 years of age.

Certain Foundation youth programs are specifically designed for boys and girls.

A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete and electronically or physically sign applicable consent and registration forms before a minor participates.

3

Parent/Guardian Authority

By submitting a youth registration or consent form, the person providing authorization represents that they are:

•• The minor’s parent

•• The minor’s legal guardian; or

•• Otherwise legally authorized to provide the requested consent

The Foundation may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify authorization.

4

Consent to Participation and Activities

By signing a consent and registration form, the parent or legal guardian authorizes the minor to participate in the specific Foundation program or programs listed on the form, including the activities described for that program and any reasonable, age-appropriate adjustments made by Foundation staff.

Parents and guardians are told in advance what the program involves — the activities, schedule, location (or virtual platform), and who will be supervising. If a program or activity changes in a material way, the Foundation will notify parents or guardians before the change affects their child wherever practicable.

Many Foundation programs include both in-person and virtual participation. This consent covers both, and the same supervision and safety standards apply online and in person.

5

Medical and Emergency Consent

Parents or guardians may be asked to provide emergency contact information and to share relevant health, allergy, or accommodation information so program staff can keep their child safe. The Foundation treats this information as confidential.

By signing the consent form, the parent or guardian authorizes Foundation staff to obtain appropriate medical attention for the minor in an emergency when a parent or guardian cannot be reached promptly — including contacting emergency services and following the instructions of medical professionals.

Please keep health and emergency information current, and notify the Foundation before any session or event if anything relevant has changed.

6

Photography and Media Consent

The Foundation may photograph or record programs and events, which can include youth participants. Before any image or recording that identifies a young person is used publicly — on the website, in printed materials, or on social media — the Foundation obtains written permission from the parent or guardian, consistent with its Privacy Policy.

Parents and guardians may decline photography or recording at any time, and doing so will not affect a young person’s ability to participate.

7

Acknowledgment of Risks

Youth activities such as workshops, gatherings, mentorship sessions, and events involve ordinary, foreseeable risks, including physical activity, travel to and from program locations, and interaction with other participants. Participation is voluntary.

By registering a minor, the parent or guardian acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review the program and ask questions, and consents to the minor’s participation with the understanding that the Foundation takes reasonable steps — including supervision, screening, and safety policies — to reduce risk.

Nothing in this policy waives any rights a parent, guardian, or minor may have under applicable law, and nothing here limits the Foundation’s commitments under its Youth Protection & Safeguarding Policy.

8

Data Collection and Privacy

Information collected about youth participants — including names, ages or dates of birth, parent or guardian contact information, and emergency contact details — is used only to operate Foundation programs safely and appropriately.

The Foundation does not sell personal information. Details about youth participants are shared only with those who need them to operate the programs — such as mentors, program coordinators, and volunteers — and as required by law. For more detail, please see the Foundation’s Privacy Policy.

9

Revocation of Consent

A parent or legal guardian may update or revoke consent at any time by notifying the Foundation. Revocation takes effect for future sessions and activities as soon as the Foundation can reasonably act on it, and does not affect participation that already took place.

Parents and guardians may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s personal information, consistent with the Foundation’s Privacy Policy.
