Lamoy PattersonFounder & President

Entrepreneur • Mentor • Speaker • Best-Selling Author • Coach • Business Developer • Community Advocate • Recording & Visual Artist

Lamoy Patterson is a Jamaican-born entrepreneur, mentor, speaker, best-selling author, business developer, coach, creative professional, and community advocate whose life’s work centers on one defining mission: helping people recognize, develop, and activate the greatness within them.

As the Founder and President of Men and Women of Might Foundation, Lamoy brings together decades of experience across entrepreneurship, education, mentorship, business development, sales and marketing, publishing, technology, music, visual arts, and community engagement to create opportunities that empower men, women, and the next generation of young leaders.

His professional journey has been anything but one-dimensional. Lamoy has served in university administration at Nova Southeastern University, built businesses, developed entrepreneurs and artists, coached individuals in personal and professional development, written and ghostwritten books, developed websites and brands, created marketing strategies, spoken before diverse audiences, and used both business and creativity as vehicles for impact.

As a recording artist and artist developer, Lamoy understands the discipline required to transform talent into purpose. As a visual artist, his work has been displayed on the walls of Fort Lauderdale City Hall. His involvement in the entertainment industry has also included presenting at the intersection of art and empowerment — sharing stages and studios with fellow creatives, and using music, performance, and visual storytelling to teach the very lessons he brings to the Foundation: presence, discipline, confidence, and purpose.

Through every role and every platform, one thread runs through Lamoy’s work: greatness is not reserved for a few — it lives within everyone, waiting to be recognized, developed, and activated. It is that conviction he now pours into the Foundation, its members, and the next generation of leaders building legacy across South Florida and beyond.
